Did I rob Peter to pay Paul?
I’m back.
My break was definitely a time of reflection and it gave me the opportunity to map out a long-term strategy for my next blogging pattern.
However, I will not be sharing details of the strategy just yet in order to give you another element of surprise, lol. I just can’t wait to see the smiles on your faces. “Tee hee!”.
How have you all been? I guess everyone is preparing for Christmas and their much-awaited holidays. All the fun outings, cheers, and; gatherings with loved ones and friends. Just thinking about it makes me want to sputter, lol.
My post today is kinda awkward. I’m really hoping it resonates with you all. It’s quite a funny heading don’t you think? – “Did I rob Peter to pay Paul”? I’m wondering if any of us has at some point in our lives been in such a dilemma. If you did what was the outcome? Were you eventually able to pay Peter back? Lol.
Sticking to the script, why then, have I chosen to tow this line of thought? because being in such a dilemma can be quite distressing. We’ve all gone through a very trying year with everyone having one aggravated issue or the other.
There is so much happening across the sphere of life and financial crises seems to be one of the leading problems. Arising either from Inflation, hikes in living costs, victims of Ponzi schemes, unemployment, or job loss, to mention but a few.
So you did rob Peter to Paul, what else is new? We all have different ways of adjusting to problems and elevated stress. Even then who sets the standards? and who defines the norm? So long as one is not being two-faced and living out a fallacy.
One thing I’m absolutely sure of is that every trying phase in life is temporary and never lasts forever. The sun will definitely shine again.
To put things into perspective, there’s no person who has achieved a high level of success in life that did not at one time or the other, face a financial crisis. I guess the reason is that being in a financial mess jolts you to look intricately for a long-term solution and in doing so, bingo! you hit your jackpot.
This goes very much with the saying that “tough times don’t last but tough people do”. It’s either you cave in Or you jump out.
Just don’t cave in. Please jump out!
