The greater one on the inside.

Working at the second job wasn’t so difficult but like every other job it had its own challenges that came along with it. From the customer service routine to the various meetings I had to attend with my manager, it was quite obvious that someone experienced was required for the role.
I recall vividly how we would attend to customers until the cut off time, then start to face our other duties. Being in charge of my help desk which involved interfacing with clients for one of the instruments of the organization, the onus was on me to develop a filing system that would stand the test of time. Unbeknownst to me, as at the time of developing this system that a time would come in the future when it would be subject to audit from the company. I recall when the auditor checked all my filed documents against the number of clients that had sold their instruments, all their required paperwork added up except one which I had inserted into a different file because it had some issues. Anyhow with a bit of mind juggling, it came back to me and I handed it over to the auditor. Sometimes when I look back, I know that it was God that had gone a step ahead of me at this organization and had given me the spirit of wisdom which I applied to my duties.

This brings to mind the life of Daniel in the bible, how the lord had given him the spirit of wisdom and integrity amongst men and had set him apart in the sight of the king. Nonetheless, as long as you are a believer in Christ, this same spirit of wisdom dwells on the inside of you by virtue of the holyspirit of God. The more you lean on him and on his direction, you will find out that overcoming certain challenges you face in life would become much easier. The Holyspirit longs very much to have the first place in the life of each believer. Grieving him with your lifestyle would only cause him to withdraw because he is a gentle spirit. So I urge you to activate the power you have on the inside of you by drawing strength and wisdom from your comforter and friend who is there to teach you all things and to guide you into all truth.

John 14v16 says “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you”
and John 14v26 also says “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you”.

There is a greater one that lies on the inside of each and every believer in Christ Jesus and he is there to provide not only direction but to be a daily and integral part of their life. We all need to determine what is most important to us in this life. To be carried away by the fleeting pleasures of this life OR to find God and allow him to be part of our lives? It’s just one life we have to live and what one may term as one major exam you have to write in life. This is to find him, receive him and to walk daily with him. By doing so you activate his power in you and draw your daily strength from him, the strength you need to face life challenges and to overcome. He’s waiting patiently for you to turn to him. Don’t shut the door.
