I won’t back down.

There’s always a first time for everything.

I recall when I started having different musical compositions coming to my mind. I thought it to be rather strange. Sometimes when I become engrossed in activities like house chores, different rhythms would be pouring from within me and I would find myself either humming to the tunes or dancing. Lol.

For a while, I kept questioning what I could do with them until one day, I found myself in the company of some individuals, who unknown to me were music producers. They asked me to sing when they heard my audible voice and thereafter asked, why I wasn’t singing for a profession. It was then I narrated my experience to them and they requested that I record the rhythms as it forms the basis of any music.
Wow! you can imagine how amazed and grateful I was to have been amongst them.

I’m sure you know how my experience ended? I recorded those rhythms and decided to contact a producer to turn one of my compositions into music. Writing the lyrics for the song, on the other hand, came with as much ease as the rhythms. I bless God for the talent.

It may please you all to know that my music is out and has been copyrighted. It’s a single album with an instrumental version. As much as I would want you to hear it, it turns out that setting up my store is taking a bit longer than expected. Just recently I realized I needed to configure the payment gateways. It keeps me wondering what next? but not to worry, I may have to redirect you to other platforms to stream it.

So, Yay!! I do have something to celebrate with you all. The truth is that all I wanted to do was a single instrumental album but my producer suggested I could give it a twist and have a vocal version. Rather than sing, I read out my lyrics so it now sounds like poetry instead of music. Lol.

Just thinking of the few negative reviews, makes me cringe and feel like packing up and going somewhere to hide. Lol, but you know what? the one question that keeps throbbing in my heart is this, whose report would you believe? What God says or what man says? Jehovah can take anything and turn it into something.

So I guess, I’ll just keep doing what I do and despite the negative reviews choose not to let them get me down. When God is ready to move, he will.

Until then, just know that as you listen to my first single album, it may sound like poetry but hey, there’s always a first time at everything!

Take care.
