I noticed that many of you logged on to this platform on Valentine’s day. I must apologize for not posting even a short note to you all. It’s never really been my thing.

Inasmuch as I would like to rephrase this above statement. I can’t. 

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t shun the idea of having a day set aside to show love but the truth is and; the question I found myself asking is this. 365 days go by and we are either bickering, fighting, or hating one another for the most part, then voila! Valentine’s day arrives, and the mood changes. Seriously? 

I tend to see every day as a day to celebrate love relationships, companionships, and great friendships. I deem it to be utter hypocrisy for someone to dislike me for the most part of the year and then celebrate me only on valentine’s day.  

I’m a dedicated friend who enjoys celebrating people but show me your nasty side then I withdraw. So there, you know it now. Hence, my reason for not posting anything on that day. 

I celebrate you all my network of friends. If there’s anything I want more from you it’s for you all to fully subscribe to the blog. I would like to have a rich network of friends to post private discussions to. So if you would like to get to know me more, then please subscribe.  

I’ve juggled my mind wondering why exactly some of you won’t subscribe because I’m not using the information. The only reason that keeps coming to my mind is my privacy policy which I reviewed long ago on the blog. 

So, I hope you all had a good Valentine’s day. 

I’m sorry for posting in an irregular manner. Many times, I hold back. However, the intention is not to bore you all.

All effort to get the video for my discussion today has not been forthcoming.  I’ve been checking the Instagram handle but it’s not been easy to pinpoint the exact video.

Nonetheless, I do have something rare I’d like to share today. 

Now I know some of you out there may be surprised when reading my various posts how audible I can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit of God. You may also wish to be able to hear him too. 

So, I decided to talk briefly about it today.

Years ago when I was a teenager, I longed so much to hear the voice of the lord and was in no particular hurry to do so, lest I hear him out of context. 

I recall times when I sat quietly in his presence just waiting for him to speak to me. This went on for some time until I began to hear him audibly. One truth, I observed in my walk is that he can speak telepathically. Now I’m not saying this to bewilder you but to guide you. 

Try to sit still and recall a few times when you felt impressed in your spirit and could definitely say you heard directly from him. 

Those times it may have been as if a thought was impressed upon yours and then the words started to flow into you. This is what I meant when I said telepathically. 

The Holy Spirit uses your thoughts to impress his mindset upon yours. So, try not to always ward off thoughts that may seem absurd or strange because sometimes he is trying to say something. 

The one key to also hearing his voice is being still. The more you develop the habit of blocking off other voices and listening within, the easier it will be for you.  Over time you will start to have longer conversations with him. 

We all need his direction and his companionship. No matter how much we surround ourselves with people and activities, a time will come when it will be just us with ourselves and there’s nothing as difficult as coming to crossroads in life and not knowing which way to turn.
