The heightened sensations.

…and what did the sensations feel like? This time like a block of stones inside my head.

As I sat with a friend on one particular day trying to decipher what could be triggering it, she researched types of headaches, and here’s what we saw.

Did you notice the pictorial depiction of each type of headache? The one that resonated was spinal headache.

Of course, this was just me doing my private research. I kept wondering if the epidural I was given when I underwent the surgeries for my hips had more or less triggered it.

Anyhow, I went to see my doctor and they stated it was caused by anxiety. Despite their review of my medications, the sensations kept becoming more pronounced. On some days, I would literally leave the office. At home, I would sit and reevaluate my thinking patterns (at the same time twitching and turning) all in the bid to find relief. The process was painful and exhausting (not to forget that I still had my work and official targets to meet).

So what did I do differently? I noticed that the condition occurred the most when I deprived myself of sleep. As I sat away from my doctor explaining my daily routine, he noted expressly that whatever the situation, I must get at least 7 hours of sleep.

You see, I thought I could get by without adequate sleep but the doctor reminded me that sleep deprivation had absurd effects. Guess, who’s suffering now? Me! because not only did he note this to me, but he increased the dosage of my medications. Not funny at all!

Recently, I was pointed to an alternative herbal food supplement that has instant solutions for the relief of stress, anxiety, insomnia, and fatigue – ASHWAGANDHA. You can get it to buy at your local pharmacy.

In conclusion, I learnt three important things from this experience.

  • Types of headaches and their symptoms.
  • Constant sleep deprivation has negative repercussions.
  • ASHWAGANDHA herbal food supplement is beneficial in the relief of stress, anxiety, insomnia, and fatigue.

Talk to you all later. Bye.
